Dubrovnik is one of the most popular tourist destinations, not just on the Mediterranean, but in all of Europe. Like Diocletian’s Palace in Split, Dubrovnik is also a UNESCO World Heritage site. We will start our journey with a slow drive along the Adriatic coast to experience amazing panoramic view of Dalmatian islands. During the drive we will make stops for you to take photos of this beautiful nature.
“Those who seek paradise on earth“ George Bernard Shaw once wrote, “should come to Dubrovnik”. This ancient city, encircled by its mighty walls and fortresses, looks like a precious jewel surrounded by sea on all sides. The city is also a treasure trove of wonderful architecture and works of art, carefully kept and preserved over centuries.
Stroll down the main street Stradun (Placa), enjoy wonderful views of some of the most iconic monuments of Dubrovnik such as the Rector’s Palace, Franciscan monastery, Sponza Palace, the Dubrovnik Cathedral, and many others. The Old Pharmacy, located inside the Franciscan monastery, opened in 1317. It is the third oldest pharmacy in Europe, but the only one still working. Your guide will point out all the monuments, churches and other sites of interest on the way and enrich you with their fascinating stories.
